Cabeças do Reguengo Quartzo Branco is a pristine expression of the Serra de São Mamede’s unique terroir. Made from a field blend of 10 native grape varieties grown in old vineyards, this wine captures the minerality and elegance characteristic of its granitic soils.
The vinification begins with manual harvesting in late August, followed by gentle crushing, pressing, and static decantation of the must. Fermentation occurs naturally with wild yeasts, and the wine is aged for 15 months in new oak barrels, adding structure and complexity. Malolactic fermentation softens the wine’s acidity, resulting in a balanced, harmonious profile.
With its bright acidity (5.2 g/L) and 12.5% alcohol, Quartzo Branco is a versatile pairing for dishes such as poached fish, creamy pasta, or roasted poultry. Limited to just 1,292 bottles, it’s a rare and luxurious addition to any wine collection.
