Tentenublo Wines, founded by visionary winemaker Roberto Oliván in Viñaspre, Rioja Alavesa, is at the forefront of a modern Rioja revolution. Rooted in tradition but unafraid to challenge conventions, Roberto crafts terroir-driven wines that celebrate the region’s rugged beauty and rich biodiversity. Working alongside his wife, Leyre, Roberto manages over 10 hectares of organically farmed vineyards, some of which are over a century old, spread across 30 small parcels.
Tentenublo’s approach combines old-world techniques, like spontaneous fermentations and aging in cement or used oak, with a commitment to preserving biodiversity.
